About Me
A Labor of Love
I started out my career in corporate communications and worked in the high tech world for 11 years. After having my first child, however, I decided that I wanted to work in a field that had more personal interest for me. I got involved with La Leche League (LLL) almost immediately after my daughter was born, and after attending my first LLL conference I knew that working with families on their breastfeeding journey was something I wanted to do. I became an LLL Leader in 2009 and an IBCLC in 2020, and have been helping parents, moms, dads, sisters, and grandparents with their breastfeeding questions and concerns ever since.

Real Stories. Real Support.
Real Confidence.

I felt she really empathized with my BF struggles. This appointment with her helped get my mom groove and I am so grateful for her knowledge & support. She even came on a holiday when I waved my help me flag! Truly a professional and talented professional.

Thank you SO much for your support! With all your amazing advice we were able to get our son to BF 90% of the time (10% bottle by mom's choice). I might have totally given up but your encouragement, tips and guidance were instrumental in getting us there. It's been such an incredible way to bond and made life a lot easier"

Resources for your breast milk feeding journey
Success is often achieved through proper support
I recommend attending parenting support groups for many reasons, but especially for a sense that you are not alone, that others have gone through what you have, and that there are many ideas out there for feeding, sleep etc. Find your tribe. Mothers sometimes have concerns about how much
milk they are making
As milk making is designed to be on a supply and demand basis, the most important driver of this is to increase the "demand" through frequent nursing or pumping. To add to your supply, there are foods and supplements that can be beneficial. Remember, these will not create more milk if there is not sufficient demand, but they can help. Here is a list of foods and supplements
